Last updated: September 26, 2026

Tattoo Idea Book respects the intellectual property of photographers, tattoo artists and other creators, and we expect our visitors to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Our Image Sources

We use photos shared under free licenses, mainly from Unsplash and Wikimedia Commons, and we credit the creators where the license requires it. If you believe an image was shared without the right permission, we want to know.

Please email contact@tattooideabook.com with the subject line "Copyright Notice" and include:

  1. A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  2. The exact URL of the page on our site where the material appears.
  3. Your name, address, phone number and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What Happens Next

We review every complete notice promptly. If the claim is valid, we will remove or replace the material and may contact the person who supplied it. If you are a tattoo artist and would like credit for a design shown on our site, we are happy to add it.

Counter Notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter notice to contact@tattooideabook.com with the details of the material, the reason you believe it was removed in error, your contact information and your signature.
