At Tattoo Idea Book, our goal is to publish tattoo content that is helpful, accurate and honest. This page explains how we create and update our articles.
Who Writes Our Content
Every article is written and reviewed by the Tattoo Idea Book Team, a small group of tattoo enthusiasts who research designs, styles and aftercare for readers in the USA.
Research and Sources
- Health and safety topics such as aftercare and removal are based on trusted sources like the FDA, the Mayo Clinic and the American Academy of Dermatology.
- Symbol meanings and style history come from cultural and historical references, and we treat traditional and sacred art with respect.
- Prices are researched from typical U.S. studio and clinic rates and are always shared as estimates.
Images
We use real, freely licensed photos and credit their creators. Each image is used in only one article, and the number of designs in a title matches the number of photos in the article.
Accuracy and Updates
We review our guides regularly and update them when prices, trends or best practices change. If you spot an error, please email contact@tattooideabook.com and we will correct it as quickly as possible.
Independence
Advertising and affiliate partnerships never influence what we write. Our recommendations are based on what we believe will help readers. Learn more in our Affiliate Disclosure.
